Accountant (m/f/d)

Join our growing team as a junior accountant (m/f/d)!

Tasks

• You will be the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable. You will ensure that the relevant business transactions are recorded accurately and correctly.
• You will work on clarifying accounts and ensure that the subledgers are reconciled at all times.
• You will be responsible for recurring reports, e.g. advance VAT returns, OSS or ZM.
• You will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB).
• You will contribute your ideas for the continuous optimisation and automation of our clients’ accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial training, e.g. as a tax clerk or accountant, or a comparable qualification. Additional training as a financial or balance sheet accountant is a plus.
• You have initial relevant professional experience and in-depth knowledge of operational accounting.
• You are proficient in digital accounting and are familiar with DATEV and/or Addison as well as MS programmes.
• You are a process questioner with a penchant for digitalisation. The ability to not only understand processes, but also to optimise and automate them, sets you apart.
• You show initiative and have a structured and reliable way of working, combined with strong team and communication skills.
• You are fluent in German.
